The Design

The Photography Home Page is designed as an advertisement tool for photographers. This ranges from budding photographers all the way up to big name companies. The aim is to help photography related sites get recognized in a way that they couldn't any other way. It is also a place for photographers to look to for inspiration as well as a place to find places to purchase equipment as well as find reviews on the equipment they are looking to purchase.

How it Works

Pixels are sold 1000 pixels at a time for only four dollars. If you already have a logo designed that you would like to use you can email us the logo at pixelprojects@gmail.com. If you don't have a previously designed logo, we can design you a logo for free. Logos with questionable content in them will not be accepted (as determined by the site administrators) Once you have purchased the pixels and Paypal has processed the payment, we will have the advertisement up within a week. The advertisement is guaranteed to stay up until at least January 1st, 2013. Once the payment has been processed, you can not get a refund for the advertisement.

The Inspiration

The inspiration for the site came from The Million Dollar Home Page. What we wanted to do with his idea, was to take it and put it in a specialized area, and from this we decided to make one aiming just at photographers. As a photographer myself, I wanted to start a place for photographers to get noticed and have people visit their sites. It is also a way for people interested in photography to find inspiration, find information on places to purchase equipment, or find places to learn about photography.
